Hi, I’m Atsushi Tanaka, the founder and guide behind our e-bike garden tours "bekiTKgardens", and this business is managed by my company "June Garden".

In my 20s, I worked as a bike messenger in Tokyo. Day after day, I rode through the backstreets, shortcuts, and slopes of this massive, beautiful city — learning every corner, every hill, and every quiet path that most people never see. That experience gave me a unique view of Tokyo’s geography, and a deep love for the rhythm of city cycling.

Then in my 30s, I made a big shift — I became a gardener. I started working with traditional Japanese gardens, learning how each stone, tree, and season tells a story. I was fascinated by how nature and design come together in Japanese culture, and I wanted to share that peaceful beauty with others.

Today, I’ve combined both of those passions: cycling and gardens. Through these tours, I get to guide travelers not just through Tokyo’s famous spots, but into the quiet, green places that even many locals don’t know about. I love connecting with people from around the world, showing them hidden gardens, talking about plants and design, and sharing great local food along the way.

My goal is simple: to make your time in Japan unforgettable — full of fresh air, beauty, fun, and discovery.
